Arriving in Israel

The trip to Israel from the East Coast of the USA takes about 11 hours and 15 hours from the West. In many cases there may be a stopover in Paris or London. The flight time from London is 4 1/2 hours.

In the terminal at the Ben-Gurion Airport in Israel, you will pass a passport control.

In the arrival's hall after passing the passport control, you can find carts for your luggage. In this hall you can find public phones, and an ATM machine where you can withdraw Israeli Shekels.

After receiving your luggage you pass the customs.

If you rent a car, you will find Rent-A-Car companies in the Arrival's Hall.
 

The Road to Jerusalem

Ben-Gurion Airport is located in the town of Lod. It takes about 40 minutes to arrive in Jerusalem by car.

Driving Directions from Lod Airport to Lincoln Street

From the airport: highway to Jerusalem.

When you reach Jerusalem: keep going straight 2 stoplights.
On the 3rd stoplight you reach a fork. Take the one that turns slightly to the left. Go up the street. On the next light turn right (almost straight). You are on Shderot Zalman Shazar Rd.

On the 2nd light, turn half right to Sderot Hanasi Ben Zvi Rd.
Drive straight till you reach a big junction (very tall buildings on your left) turn left up the hill, then tern left again on the light into Ramban St. Go straight till the end and turn right. The first left again and you are on Aza St.

Cross the junction, keep going straight and you are on Agron St.
Drive almost to the end, and then about 50 meters before the stoplight turn right. This is Ben Shimon St., which leads you into King David St.
On your first right you turn to Hess St.
Lincoln 10 is at the end of this St. on your right. You need the first entrance. Our name is on the mailbox and the door. The apartment is on the 2nd floor.

If you get lost

Just ask for the King David Hotel. The hotel is on King David St.

From the airport: highway to Jerusalem.

When you reach Jerusalem: keep going straight 2 stoplights.
On the 3rd stoplight you reach a fork. Take the one that turns slightly to the left. Go up the street. On the next light turn right (almost straight). You are on Shderot Zalman Shazar Rd.

On the 2nd light, turn half right to Sderot Hanasi Ben Zvi Rd.

Drive to the end and turn left. You are on Hanassi St. In front of you there is a round about. Turn right. You are on Marcus St. The 2nd street to your left is D'Israeli St. Our name is on the mailbox and the door. The apartment is on the first floor.

If you get lost

Just ask for the Jerusalem Theater. The theater is on Marcus St.

Driving Directions from Lod Airport to Shamai Street

From the airport: highway to Jerusalem. When you reach Jerusalem: keep going straight 2 stoplights. On the 3rd stoplight you reach a fork. Take the one that turns slightly to the left. Go up the street. On the next light turn right (almost straight). You are on Shderot Zalman Shazar Rd. On the 2nd light, turn half right to Shderot Hanasi Ben Zvi Rd. Turn left on the first light. You are on Bezalel St. At the top of the hill, as you reach a fork, turn slightly left. You are on Ben Yehuda St. On the first light take the left lane. You are on Be'eri St. Cross the light (you crossed King George St.), you are now on Hilel St. Take the first turn left (Histadrut St.) and right again. You are on Shamai St. Number 12 is towards the end of the St. on your right side. You need the last entrance (entrance c). Our name is on the mailbox and the door. The apartment is on the 3rd floor.

If you get lost

Just ask for the McDonalds in the city center. It is on Shamai St.

Driving Directions from Lod Airport to Mishpat Dreifuss Street

From the airport: highway to Jerusalem.

When you reach Jerusalem: keep going straight 2 stoplights.
On the 2nd stoplight you turn left. Watch the 'Ramot' sign. This is where you get off. Keep on going straight along the road. After the 3rd spotlight you will pass under a bridge. When you reach the 4th stoplight (on your right side you will notice a gas station) you will notice a sign 'Ramot 02-03'. Turn left. You are on Ha'qongerss Ha'zioni St. Drive to the end and turn left on Avraham Rekanati St. Drive to first possible turn right, and turn into Israel Zarchi St.
Mishpat Dreifuss St. is on the third ally to your left.
