Remember as well, the underground activities of the Ezel-Group, the imprisonments that followed, and the British leaving - which culminated the War of Independence. 

I took part in this war as a young soldier, and fought many battles. I was wounded in one of them.
In 1954 the president Ben-Zvi’s wife, Rachel Yanait invited me to tell her about one of the battles I took part in, and I received a medal.
Since I was born in Jerusalem I am familiar with the Jewish and Arab parts of the city, and during the years I have painted them both. 

I painted more then 300 paintings, most of them oil on canvas. 

On August 1997 I had an exhibition at the “Amalia Arbel Gallery in Tel-Aviv”. On September 1998, I had another exhibition at the “Artists House” in Jerusalem. Both galleries are very well known in Israel.
