1. How long will it take to get a memorial on-line?

The memorial will be accessible on the Internet within 7 working days (or sooner if possible) after receiving all the information. E-mail will notify the creator.

2. Will Jewish Memorial Center charge to access a memorial?

No. Access is free every minute of every day, all the year around.

3. Is it possible to update and amend photographs or biographies on the memorial?

Yes. Please refer to the Jewish Memorial Center’s update policy.

4. What guarantee is there, that a memorial on the Jewish Memorial Center will be preserved on the Internet?

Since there is an annual maintenance fee for most of the memorial plans offered (no maintenance fees for the Basic Memorials and the Holocaust Victims memorials); there is every intention to keep Jewish Memorial Center on the Internet, as long as it continues running under the current structure. There is also every reason to believe that even after, it will be possible to convert any information gathered on the Internet, to any other replacing medium.

It is believed that only an organization that does not depend on donations, volunteers or good will, will have the financial means to insure continued services.

5. Is it possible to pay the maintenance fees in advance?

Since no Internet provider will commit to a price for the long run, Jewish Memorial Center will collect maintenance fees, only on a 2 year basis.
