Adolf Siegmund Schroetter was born in Berlin on Tuesday, 12 Av, 5681. He was the son of Netti (Schmidt) and Moritz Moshe Schroetter.

When the Nazis came to power in Germany, he was forced, together with his mother Netti - to escape to Palestine.

In 1934, at the age of 13, he arrived in Tel-Aviv.

Adolf Siegmund died on Friday, 26 Adar, 5753, in 'Kfar Nachman' near Ra'anana, Israel, where he lived and worked since 1954.

Adolf Siegmund was 72 years old when he died. He was not married, and left no family.
