Yehezkel Yehezkely was born in 1903 in the city Espahan, Iran. He was the son of Shlomo and Hanna. At 18 years old, he married Miriam.
In 1926 they made aliyah, via Beirut, with their two children.

They settled in Jerusalem and lived there until they died.
Yehezkel had a large vegetable shop on Hillel street for many years.
He was a very strong man, who used to walk a lot, sometimes from where they lived in the Boocharim neighborhood, to Bet Lehem and back.
Yehezkel always helped people in many different ways.
He was a religious man, and used to go to synagogue.
At synagogue, he got a heart attack, and  died two weeks later. He died on
29 kislev 5727 (12.12.1966) he was 63 years old.
 
 
 

Miriam yehezkely was born in 1907 in the city Baghdad, Iraq, to a wealthy family.
She was the daughter of Moshe and Simcha.
She married Yehezkel very young after her parents died.
After Miriam and Yehezkel made aliyah, she used to work as a dressmaker, to help support the family.
She always told that she could remembered the center of Jerusalem as an empty mountain.
Miriam had 7 children, and more then 70 grandchildren.
All her life she used to help to the people around her by trying to solve their problems.
She was a good and very kind  person.

We shall never forget her.
Miriam died in Jerusalem on 18.7.79 (23 Tammuz, 5739).

She was 72 years old.
